Yesterday, we reflected on the past year at Whyte Corporate Affairs. We’re filled with pride and gratitude. It was a year marked by successes, new businesses, the embrace of new challenges, and the achievement of results.

The past year was not just about reaching our goals but also about evolving and learning together as a team. We did dynamic exercises that pushed our boundaries and expanded our thinking, thanks to the fun and inspiring session hosted by @cyrielkortleven. These exercises have been invaluable, encouraging us to think out of the box and approach our challenges with fresh perspectives.

One of the highlights of yesterday: the opportunity for to share our personal achievements and the moments we are most proud of. Hearing from our colleagues, it was heartening to see a common thread in our reflections—a shared sense of purpose, achievement, and optimism. This exercise wasn’t just about recounting successes; it was a powerful reminder of our collective strength, our shared values, and our unified vision for the future. 🚀

Known for his famous costumes at shows and masquerade balls, Corentin is also a strategic mastermind in gaming. When not immersed in historical movies or Kitchen Nightmares episodes, he’s savoring Italian and East Asian dishes, which he passionately cooks himself.

Meet Quentin, Consultant in the Corporate Communication team, and Ken Follett’s #1 fan! 🎓 At Whyte Corporate Affairs, we’re passionate about knowledge sharing and feel responsible for the transmission of expertise. That’s why we want to highlight our recent collaborations, guest lectures and ongoing courses at multiple Belgian educational institutions.

🧑‍🏫 Today, some of our colleagues also have the pleasure of teaching a full course in corporate communication to master’s students at @uclouvain as well as a crisis communication course to master students in journalism and PR @ihecs

🤝 We’ve also had the privilege of conducting guest lectures on #crisiscommunication at @vubrussel and @kuleuven, where we shared our expertise and insights with eager minds. At IHECS we delved into the complexity of #internal&change.

📚 Our journey continued at @arteveldehogeschool Gent, where we explored the dynamics of #issuemanagement, equipping future professionals with the skills to navigate complex scenarios.

📖 And let’s not forget the art of story telling! We gave a guest lecture @ihecs.academy on how to ignite change in your audience with #storytelling

🌱 These collaborations are not just about teaching; they’re also about learning and growing together. We’re constantly amazed by the fresh perspectives and innovative ideas brought forth by the students.

Last but not least! Not 1, but 5 new Associate Consultants have joined the #WhyteFamily. We are so excited to welcome Amélie, Nina, Ann-Sophie, Antje, and Tim to the team. 🎉

Let me introduce them to you:

Amélie:
✅Loves music and sings in a band with her brother (they don't have a band name yet, so suggestions are welcome).
✅Is an animal lover; her favorite animals are dogs, pigeons, bears, and goats.
✅Loves parties.
✅Enjoys the sea, especially our North Sea. Sometimes, she goes swimming in March.
✅Is addicted to spinning; her spinning class is her meditation moment.

Nina:
✅Is a knitting enthusiast - cozy oversized sweaters are her speciality.
✅Loves history and archaeology - wherever she goes, she looks for anything from a stone that tells her about past events to ancient cultures.
✅Is a huge 'snoeper'; she loves all things sweet and chocolate and expects her boyfriend to make her hot chocolate every evening at 9 pm (warme chocomelk uur).
✅Reads a lot of non-fiction; her current obsessions include books about the history of Antwerp (Antverpia) and important female figures through history (like Christine de Pizan's "La Cité des Dames").
✅Is deeply interested in art, particularly the Northern Renaissance style (e.g., Flemish Primitives such as Quinten Massijs and Jheronimus Bosch).

Ann-Sophie:
✅Is 1/16th Vietnamese (1/2 French & 1/8th Italian).
✅Used to be a figure skater and once skated at the ice skating rink in front of Rockefeller Center in New York City.
✅Is a pasta lover with particular opinions on how it should be cooked and eaten.
✅Loves baking and occasionally caters dessert buffets.
✅Is the third Ann-Sophie at the agency, but the first one spelled "Ann-Sophie."

Let's celebrate International Volunteer Day by giving back to our community! ✨

At Whyte, we're dedicated to creating positive change. As such, giving back is at the heart of our values. Our long-standing work for the Belgian Federation of Food Banks is just one of the initiatives we've put in place to help make the world a better place through the fight against hunger. And to take our commitment even further, several Whyties volunteered alongside Delhaize and the Belgian Federation of Food Banks for the second time. Together, we ensured surplus food reached those in need by distributing vouchers at Delhaize shops, empowering customers to contribute meal donations directly at checkout. This initiative goes beyond a simple meal; it's about filling plates with hope and ensuring that everyone can enjoy a warm and nourishing holiday season 🎁

We firmly believe in the strength of collective action and feel privileged to be part of such a meaningful cause. A big thank you to our dedicated team members who actively participated in this initiative. 🙏

We have welcomed a new Y-tee, Carolien Pouleyn. She has taken on the role of Senior Advisor Consultant in the Corporate Communication team, and we couldn't be happier to welcome her to the #Whytefamily! 😃

Let me provide you with a glimpse into Carolien's world:

✅She's a true enthusiast of hosting gatherings with friends and family, sharing meals, going on leisurely walks, and catching up.
✅Known as the "mayor of the street" by her neighbors because of her friendly and approachable nature, she enjoys striking up conversations with everyone.
✅Her passion for cycling is remarkable, and she often embarks on biking adventures with her husband and friends. Together, they form the cycling club "WTC Ik kan meni".
✅She's always up for vacation, so feel free to wake her up at any time for a spontaneous trip.
✅Her love for pancakes is undeniable, although lately, she's had to share them with her adorable little son.

Well, when Peter Paul Rubens & Co lend you a hand, the magic happens effortlessly! 🎭🎨 A huge thank you to Dr. Nico Van Hout, the Head of Collection Research and Curator at #KMSKA, who provided us with an exclusive pre-opening introduction to the latest temporary exhibition, 'Striking Heads.' This allowed us to savor our penultimate event in the company of our culture enthusiast clients and friends of Whyte.

Anne-Sophie
✅Has been a huge fan of the James Bond films ever since she was 7.
✅Is a tea addict, just say "tea or coffee" and you have her undivided attention.
✅Loves Gin.
✅Has read Pride And Prejudice at least 5 times.
✅Just came back to Belgium after living 7+ years in Barcelona, Spain.

Ann
✅Has a white (!) border collie, with a black spot though, 3 years old. Well educated & adorable.
✅Grew up in the French countryside among vineyards and met her Belgian husband harvesting grapes.
✅Is fond of classical music and has been singing in choirs since she was 6, positive vibes & connection to the audience are always energizing.
✅Has a couple of favorite places she regularly visits to unwind.
✅Love is her key value - for people, for her husband and her 4 children, nature, art, architecture and everything around us. All creatures are connected to each other.

⭐️ Together with our guests, we learned about the new resident of the beautiful building of the Brussels Stock Exchange, Belgian Beer World, set to open in September, and we were given a fascinating introduction into the world of beer tasting by zythologist Magali De Vinck.

🙌 Another exceptional evening under the guidance of Krishan Maudgal, CEO of the association of BELGIAN BREWERS - BELGISCHE BROUWERS - BRASSEURS BELGES.
